Computational Iceberg

Hello CoRecursive newsletter subscriber,

It’s September now, and I have a new episode out here:

It's a fun episode about various strange types of computation featuring my neighbour Don McKay.

Don's explains varying computer errors and hacks and I cover quines and esoteric computing.

Since the last newsletter I've also published an in depth guide on using JQ:

JQ is a powerful tool, but it wasn't until I wrote this article that I truly understood how to best use it.

Both the previous episode on Zig and the JQ guide showed up on hacker news:

As this newsletter goes out I'm just about to board a plane for Toronto after spending the week at a team planning session at Earthly. I love working from my home office, but getting together for planning sessions and team bonding is always a great experience that leaves me excited for the future.

Enjoy the podcast! I have a coupe really exciting episodes planned for the coming months and I'll be sharing some details of them to you as part of this newsletter.

Thanks, Adam

Adam Gordon Bell April 2nd Hey! I have a new podcast episode out about this graph: I know that doesn't sound exciting, but it actually is! https://corecursive.com/briffa-sep98-e/ That is a famous climate change graph that caused a lot of controversy, with newspapers and news shows accusing scientists of fraud and deception.
